WE NEED TO REGULARLY ASSESS THE HEALTH OF A THE PROJECT AND DETERMINE HOW ... WHETHER IT SHOULD PROCEED.

Checkpoints allow you to confirm that the project is on track and to present detailed plans for the next stage.

Decision points equivalent to Red ... (Stop ... Major problems that need to be sorted out now!!!), Amber ... (Rework ... Proceed with caution) and Green (Go) traffic signals can be linked to pre-defined levels of tolerance and escalation procedures.
